Levin Tan Eu Sheng

Levin Tan Eu Sheng, a Malaysian, aged 38, is a Promoter, Executive Chairman and a major shareholder of MATTAN. He was appointed to our Board on 5 September 2017. In 2003, he graduated with a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University, Australia. He started his career in Citibank Berhad as a Retail Bank Officer, mainly responsible in customer relationship and advising on banking products such as mortgage loan.

In 2005, he left Citibank Berhad to join Standard Chartered Bank Berhad as an assistant team manager under mortgage department, where his involvement was in procuring mortgage sales and managing and training mortgage executives until he left Standard Chartered Bank Berhad in 2008. Subsequently, he joined Majurutera Engineering & Management Sdn Bhd in 2008 as a business development cum project manager where he assumed responsibility in marketing, business development and management for Biogas project until he left Majurutera Engineering & Management Sdn Bhd in 2012. Majurutera Engineering & Management Sdn Bhd is a RE consulting firm specialising in Biogas, biomass & mini hydro.

He subsequently joined Mattan Engineering as a Director in July 2013 and was redesignated as the Executive Chairman of MATTAN on 1 January 2018. His main responsibilities in our Group includes designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures and overseeing operations of the company and the work of the executives.

Tan Tiong Kiat

Tan Tiong Kiat, a Malaysian, aged 42, is a Promoter, Group President / Executive Director and major shareholder of Mattan. He was appointed to our Board on 5 September 2017. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from University of Wales in 2001. In 2004, he was admitted as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) in 2009. He has been a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2006.

He began his career with Ernst & Young in 2001 until he left Ernst & Young in 2008 as an Audit Manager. Subsequently, he joined Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd, an environmental consultancy service provider, in 2008 as a general manager where he took on the role of a project director for the company’s projects. In this position, he was responsible for the management of the company’s projects including overall project design, procurement matters, overseeing the progress of subcontractors and client management. During his stint with Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd, he gained exposure in RE. He led Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd through the transition into RE solution provider before leaving the company in August 2012.

In September 2012, he established Mattan Engineering. On 1 January 2018, he was redesignated as the Group President / Executive Director of MATTAN. As the Group President / Executive Director, he is responsible for the overall management of Mattan Group. In addition, he also looks after the business development of Mattan Group and takes an active role in the growth of the business.
